Favorite Tracks De-borker
Check which favorite tracks got borked by re-uploads.
Find the Playlist ID by opening the playlist you want to check in your browser: https://www.deezer.com/en/playlist/<this number>. Export the Favorite tracks playlist to a separate playlist to check your Favs specifically.
Issue to solve
- When you mark a track as Favorite it should be displayed with a heart next to it, both in your playlists and in the corresponding album view. But, when the album carrying this track gets re-uploaded by the artist/label, these marks get borked -- the heart is still visible in your playlist, the track is still present in "Favorite tracks" and it plays properly, however if you open the album the heart indicator will be missing. So you won't know which track is actually favorited by you.
What it does
- Pulls tracks from the selected playlist and checks the album ID it is tied to.
- Marks the tracks whose albums were re-uploaded, making the "Favorite" indication on the track invisible on the album page.
Known Limitations
- To get the Playlist ID to check you need to select all your Favorite tracks and add them to a new "regular" playlist -- then get the ID of that playlist and use it to look up the re-uploads using this tool.
- This tool only helps you to lookup and re-add the favs manually, no automated playlist management here as this would require implementing authentication mechanisms. I am not comfortable doing it yet as I lack the skills to review the slopcode and make sure this tool won't compromise your security.

Every distinct album in the playlist gets checked individually, so large playlists take a while. Keep this page open -- the results will appear automatically.
